When I made my camelia houmongi [link] I had some scraps left over and decided it might be nice to make some matching kanzashi.

Originally I just planned to make one, but I had enough fabric to let myself get carried away. lol

So yeah, here's another maiko set for you. This one features plum (ume) blossoms. According to the maiko kanzashi calendar, this set is appropriate wear for the month of February.

Hee hee, the wall in the photos actually matches my kimono perfectly too.

Wow thats absolutely gorgous... I love how its white and pink and how you combined them. I seriously wish I could have something like that with all the matching pieces, but I wont annoy you and ask.. xD;;

plus I'd probly go broke compared to what I've already asked for. :faint:

gorgeous, the colours work really well together, even though it looks sort of heavy the colours make it look light too!
