These are some pretty chrysanthemum kanzashi I came up with this week. They're made from vintage kimono scraps. Each one is subtly variated in colour.
In the bottom left image the first one is all Ivory, the second one has ivory petals surrounded in pink, the third one has pink petals surrounded in ivory, the fourth one is entirely pink, the fifth one has a colour order of pink, ivory, ivory pink, and the last one has a colour order of ivory, pink, pink, ivory. I just thought I'd mention that because the colour difference doesn't show up well in the photo. These pieces are up for sale in my Etsy shop: [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
