Kikufuryuu - Floating Chrysanthemum
Woo hoo! $10 furisode! Well... it was a $10 furisode, until Rinkya charged me $50 US to ship it from Japan. So it ends up being more like a $70 furisode for this little Canadian. Still worth it, considering the beautiful condition! Aside from the occasional patina on the white parts (which is expected) and a teeny little snag, it's in perfect condition! I actually bought it as a bit of a gamble. I saw it going for $10. The pictures weren't very good, I wasn't even sure what kind of kimono it was, but the fabric looked beautiful and the pattern looked nice and bold - just the way I like it! So I lucked out, I guess. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
