FINALLY! AN OBI WORTHY OF MY GEIKO DRAGON HIKIZURI!
One of the reasons I've been delaying in getting photos of myself all dressed up in my dragon hikizuri is that I was searching for a really smashing obi to go with it. I really wanted something that kept with the dragon motif, but also matched stylistically, unfortunately these obi were usually WAY out of my price range. Anyways, seeing as I had some extra cash recently, I found this obi and went for it tooth and nail, and I am not disappointed. Sorry, guys still no kitsuke photos, though. I've got bronchitis and the moment, so I'm not feeling up to putting on the whole get up. Hopefully, I'll have some for you when my lungs clear up. Oh! By the way, I figured out which okiya my hikizuri came from! It's from the Yoshifumi okiya in Miyagawa-cho. This ensemble being worn: [link] |
