This fiery fall flower pin was made from the lining of a ruined antique kimono. The kimono was a taisho era irotomesode with bad discolouration and missing sleeves. I've remade that kimono as a susoyoke which I can wear under my other taisho kimono, and I used the scraps to make kanzashi.
