This fiery fall flower clip was made from the lining of a ruined antique kimono. The kimono was a taisho era irotomesode with bad discolouration and missing sleeves. I've remade that kimono as a susoyoke which I can wear under my other taisho kimono, and I used the scraps to make kanzashi.

It's actually from a scrap piece that Ichiroya sent me with one of my orders.

They sent me a cool scrap with 2 big cranes on it before. It almost looked more like a fukusa than some kinda fabric. Maybe a haori lining since it was pretty thin :o
