Well, I've been working on a few things this summer in Killarney. I'm going to a wedding this weekend, so this is the little kanzashi I made to match my dress. It's made from blue and cyan foil paper.
Beautiful. Check out my temari - I'd be willing to do a trade.
Very pretty! I'm learning how to make Kanzashi & never thought of using foil paper. I'll have to try that sometime.
Gorgeous, gorgeous colour. So saturated and BLUE!
Looks lovely! Would love to see the whole outfit that you're putting together... Would be fascinating to check out how you wear such things in a modern/western(?) setting like a wedding. (Assuming here, as I know nothing about the wedding itself)
Thank you! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a photo of myself that showed the kanzashi. But basically I wore it with an empire waisted, halter top sort of dress that matched the deep blue of the kanzashi. I also had a turquoise scarf that picked up the turquoise inside the petals. I wore my hair in a bun and simply positioned the flower on one side of it.
what else can i say that wasn't said already?
I love the colors.
Love the colors ! they're so intense
this is beautiful!! I love that color blue
It's such a lovely kanzashi, and what beautifully rich colors.
