Africa Yukata II by Kurokami-Kanzashi Africa Yukata II by Kurokami-Kanzashi
Well, preparations are already underway for the 2014 Anime North Kimono Fashion Show, and as part of those preparations, I have decided to issue myself the 12 hour yukata challenge a couple of times this year. Basically, I figured out some time ago that I could complete a yukata in approximately 10 hours. This is the result of my successful completion of the first 12 hour challenge; a new Africa Yukata! This particular yukata is made from fabric that I purchased in Angola, Africa. Enjoy!

Wow. Awesome! It adds a uniqe twist to the tradtional kimono. Personlly to me, some tradtional Africam wear has a resemblance to tradtional Kimonos.

Thanks! Though not incredibly original. There's a whole line of kimono made from African fabrics from designer Serge Mouangue: www.wafrica.jp/

Beautiful print on it and I like the complimentary colors in the obi. The African belt as an obijime is a cool touch.
